Thomas Hodge

Interim Executive Director, CARILEC

Mr. Thomas Hodge holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies (1995), and a Master’s in Business Administration from Queens University in Ontario, Canada (2008).  He is an ICSA Accredited Director.

Mr. Hodge served as Plant Manager of the Anguilla Electricity Company from 2000 to 2007, and as General Manager of the same company from 2008 to 2013.  He served on the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) between 2011 and 2013.

In 2013, Mr. Hodge founded energy consulting firm ‘SwitchLogix’, and served as the Company’s Managing Director.  Under his leadership, he grew the company and undertook several energy audits and renewable energy installations, including the construction of a 1MW solar PV plant at the Cuisinart Golf Resort and Spa in Anguilla.

Mr. Hodge has been very involved in renewable energy adaptation in the region and assisted in the drafting of Anguilla’s Energy Policy in 2011, while he served on the Anguilla Energy Committee.  He has a wealth of experience in utility operations, human resource management, renewable energy systems, strategic planning and business management.
