Ms. Silvi serves as Vice President, Research and Policy at Sustainable Capital Advisors. Her curiosity for global markets, politics, and trends along with a passion for connecting the dots has translated into a career that straddles the intersection of sustainable development, policy, and energy. With over 13 years of experience working in the private, public, and multilateral sectors, Ms. Silvi has conducted research and authored reports for many distinguished clients including; the U.S. federal government, the World Bank, the Economist Intelligence Unit, the MasterCard Center for Inclusive Growth, the Rockefeller family, the Foundation for Sustainable Development, and the Joint US-China Cooperation on Clean Energy.

Prior to her work as a consultant, she served on a small operations management team at the World Bank’s Carbon Finance Unit. There she managed the portfolio of 175 (CDM and JI) carbon finance projects across 12 unique carbon funds with assets worth $2.3 billion. She was also Government Affairs Manager for the trade association AHRI – representing over 300 global manufacturers of heating and cooling equipment. There she worked with numerous stakeholders to advance legislation that promoted energy efficiency, equipment standards, tax incentives for new technologies, and chemical regulation. Ms. Silvi holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University (SIPA) and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science from Villanova University.
